Very thorough, took extra time to look at and takes pics of a couple hard to reach spots. The fee was lower than other companies and included a written report, which was extremely detailed and arrived as promised. Chad took the time to explain how moisture metering works and what it means. Excel Inspections may even have been a good luck charm – we got the house!

We cannot sing Chad’s praises enough. We hired Chad for a home inspection last year, and let’s just say he did TOO good of a job because we cancelled our contract! We found another house this year and just used him again. We specifically requested him, and, once again, he did not disappoint! His attention to detail is incredible. Even our realtor commented “this guy doesn’t miss a thing!” We never leave reviews, but both my husband and I are so impressed with his work ethic that we had to come sing his praises. Not to mention, he is a pleasure to work with personally. I had our 9 month old baby there, and I tend to ask a lot of questions. He was as pleasant as can be with our baby, and he never made me feel like a problem or like I was pestering him. He answered everything professionally and thoroughly. Use these guys. You won’t be disappointed! We are hoping this deal goes through, but if it doesn’t, we will definitely request him again.

Had Chad Winchell as our home inspector. He was not only very professional but his personality is a plus! The process was nerve wrecking as we were in a position as buyers where we had waived the option to have the current owners do the repairs. I was a nervous wreck, needless to say! Chad kept us calm and informed throughout the whole process and he was just very calming!! Inspection came out great but he was very thorough in his report and helped point out all the major and minor things in the house.
